The Rhythm of Tradition: Celebrating Culture Through Dance

At our school, traditional dance is more than just a performance—it is a celebration of our rich heritage and identity. Every week, students gather in the schoolyard, dressed in colorful imikenyero and intore attire, ready to move to the vibrant beats of the ingoma (drums). The sound of rhythmic clapping and the deep, soulful drumbeats fill the air as the dancers gracefully move in perfect harmony, telling stories through their steps and gestures.
Student Trip at Gisenyi City

Every year our school organize a trip with all students and teachers, this year our trip was to gisenyi shore and beach, With happy hearts and sun-kissed faces, we boarded the bus, waving goodbye to the beautiful shores of Lake Kivu. The journey back was quieter, as some students dozed off, dreaming of the waves, the golden sand, and the peaceful moments on the boat.
